FSC® Conference:Global market trend for certified forest products

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) cordially invites you to attend the FSC Conference on the 15th September at the Global Timber and Wood Products Trade Conference in Qingdao, China.
Sustainability has become a key topic in the wood and timber sector in recent years. An increasing number of retailers and brand owners have required their suppliers to provide wood products from responsible sources. Many public procurement policies make certification a pre-requisite for selecting suppliers of construction materials. The US Lacey Act and the EU Timber Law outlaw illegal wood and wood products from their marketplace.
With this conference we would like to share with you the market development and trend for FSC certified wood, and introduce how FSC certification can help fulfill ‘due diligence requirements’ of EUTR. Representatives of leading companies will provide their perspective on the certified wood products and market. There will be a FSC booth featuring products samples from FSC certified Chinese producers.
